What is the adoption process like?
The adoption process begins with completing an application. Once your application is submitted, our adoption team will review it and reach out to let you know if you’ve been approved. After approval, you can tell us what you’re looking for in a donkey, and our team of trainers will select suitable donkeys that match your preferences.
Is there an adoption fee?
Yes! The adoption fee is $350 for the first donkey and $250 for each additional donkey you adopt.
Can donkeys live alone, or do they need a companion?
Donkeys are very social animals. They require a companion, either another donkey or a compatible horse, to thrive and stay happy.
Do you adopt out donkeys nationwide or only locally?
Yes! We adopt donkeys across the United States through multiple satellite adoption centers, making it easier for families nationwide to give a rescued donkey a loving home.
