The Peaceful Valley Donkey Rescue (PVDR) is looking for career minded individuals who love animals, adventure and are not afraid of hard work.
Available positions include:
Yard Hand. Drive tractors and skid steers, feed animals, clean and muck stalls, repair plumbing and fences. Ability to lift and carry 65 pounds. Safe work habits. Team player.
Trainer: Work hands on with the donkeys preparing them for adoption. Calm demeanor, natural love of animals, willingness to learn. No experience necessary, on job training.
Driver: Making deliveries of donkeys, performing rescues. Clean driving record required.
Wild Donkey Capture Specialist: Spend extended time in remote parts of the Southwest. Capture, feed and transport wild donkeys. Willingness to learn. Self starter.
Experience is not a prerequisite. Starting pay is $15,00. PVDR offers training for all positions.
